Getting a driver’s license is a major chapter in one’s life. It offers convenience, freedom, and independence. Our friendly, certified instructors will equip you with the skills to pass your road test and drive safely. Courses are offered in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Both 60 minute and 90 minute lessons are offered. Extended 90 minute lessons are ideal for students who live far away from the testing areas or prefer to get more practice after instructional time.
1 Hour Initial Assessment

*Lessons must be paid in full via Interac e-transfer at the time of booking unless alternative arrangements are made. Installments can be arranged for lesson packages
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel a lesson, you must give 48 hours before the appointment time to avoid being charged the fee for the lesson (or a late cancellation fee of 50%). The full amount paid for the lesson will be charged for any same day cancellations or no shows.
Refund Policy
All bookings and lesson packages must be prepaid. If you decide to stop lessons part way through a package, we will deduct the full price of the lessons already completed. The balance for all remaining prepaid lessons and packages will be returned less a processing fee of $50 for any and all refunds. We reserve the right to change our prices without prior notice.

Frankie, our principal driving instructor at Monarch Driving Academy in Burnaby, has over 15 years of experience as a fully certified instructor in BC. With a background in psychology and crisis counselling, Frankie brings a unique and compassionate approach to driver education.
His relaxed demeanor and expert knowledge make Frankie a standout instructor. Frankie tailors each lesson to individual needs, covering essential road test skills like parking, lane changing, and highway driving. He also integrates defensive driving techniques throughout the lessons, helping students anticipate hazards, react to unexpected situations, and make smart decisions on the road.
